Who doesn't LOve OWL !

I love all things cute and adorable. One day as I browse through the internet for crochet inspiration, I came across a very cute crochet owl appliques. They made it as a pendant for necklace. Then it hit me, why not I come out with my own creation - I did! I tried a few times , adjusting sizes and stitches , also trying to make it look cute and adorable too. So finally I came out with this.......

After my first owl was successfully crocheted , I began to crochet them in few different colors. I have it in pink, blue, brown, peach and yellow at my etsy shop http://www.appliquefarm.etsy.com/ . So far the response is quite good, I got a few of them sold off. :)

In the coming days, I will try my hand on crocheting cat, rabbit, dog and anything that is cute. I just love them all :)

It's a Wonderful Slouch Hat Day!

Hi, it is such a lovely day today, isn't it? :) I sure feel so. Maybe it is because I sold 2 slouch hat today, yippee!!! I guess slouch hat is the most popular crochet hat, I sell it faster than any of my other items. Maybe because it is really comfortable to wear, lightweight again, and stylish as well. Especially if you have a bad hair day, just tuck in all your hair inside the slouch and nobody will know your hair is a mess. :)

The picture to the right, is one of the slouch I sold today. This same one I have sold 3 of them, I think is the color, you know, black and grey are always the easiest color to match all your wardrobe plus it comes with 2 strings for you to tighten when you want to keep your hair inside the slouch.
The picture to the left is another one I have sold today to the same customer. This one is slightly smaller slouch but still able to tuck your hair in.
This slouch is in wine red color, very chic and rich color, and also easy to go with any type of garments. My sister Zain, she is the crafter behind all these wonderful slouch hat. She just love making them, mix and match all colors.
These beautiful slouch hats are available at our shop now at : www.cinnamonyarn.etsy.com

Lovely Ocean Star Scarf

This is my sis-zain first scarf project when we first started crocheting.

The picture on the left ( with my herself as model :) ) is the first creation and on the right with Daniella wearing it is the most recent one.

We actually sold 3 of the first creation, being one of them was sold instantly after I just listed it. It is crocheted with mohair yarn, all together 42 stars, 48 inches long. Very lightweight and soft.
Unfortunately the yarn is out of stock for the moment, so zain make a new one with a different yarn. The newest creation has 44 stars and 54 inches long, it is also soft and lightweight, made from acrylic yarns in blue shades.
This pattern is quite simple actually, perfect for beginner.
You may find this beautiful piece at www.cinnamonyarn.etsy.com
Thanks

FLOWERS GARDEN CREATIONS

We love flowers. We have a small garden outside our home, potted plants mostly as the ground has been cemented. These necklaces and lariat creations are inspired by the beautiful gardens that everyone can dream of, beautiful blossoms that grows all year long. :)

I am proud to say that all 3 of these items are sold out just a few days after I listed them, it was really a great feelings when someone really appreciate what you have created out of love and inspirations.

Introducing Daniella - Our Model

Hi
Let me introduce to you, her name is Daniella, she is our model for our shop http://www.cinnamonyarn.etsy.com/ .

Before we started the shop, we knew that we need a model for displaying our hats to take photos. So fortunately, we were able to find a good deal at our local shop, she is the perfect one.

Despite just wearing hats, she can also wear scarves, necklaces, lariats and earrings as well, but unfortunately not shrugs or shawls, because her shoulder is kind of small. In future we will invest in another whole body model, as for now Daniella will do the job.

By the way, Daniella is wearing a wine red slouch hat which just made a few days ago. Doesn't she look pretty and very much comfortable in it too :)

This hat is available for sale at http://www.cinnamonyarn.etsy.com/

Thank you
